Our online classes can help, and we’re offering them to you in a format that will allow some or all of your authors to participate no matter what time zone they live in.
We strive to create a safe, supportive atmosphere so writers have room to make mistakes, discuss their fears, and gain the craft skills necessary to tackle the difficult task of writing outside of their own identities and experience.

Custom classes also include up to two Writing the Other Master Classes delving into specific topics such as writing Trans and Non-Binary characters and writing Native American characters.
Writers will leave the class with several exercises to do with each other or individually, a long list of resources for further learning, and access to our sensitivity reader database.
Custom Classes take place in a private, accessible forum and have a Go at Your Own Pace model. Lectures, discussions, and exercises go live daily, and writers can log in whenever they have time to read, watch, and participate. Our base class is three weeks long, though we can customize this to your specific needs. The minimum time commitment per week is six to eight hours.
Cost
Custom classes can have up to 40 writers at a time.
